Who we are
The site is operated by Yossi Shua, artist and sculptor, studio and gallery at 11 Shlom Zion Hamalka St., Jerusalem, Israel, phone +972-52-5909-555, email yossishua.art@gmail.com. It presents Yossi’s artworks and lets you get in touch to ask a question, buy a piece or commission one.
The artworks on the site
Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. The photographs are for illustration: colours on screen may differ from the piece itself, and the dimensions shown (in inches and centimetres) are approximate. If a detail matters to you, ask before ordering and we will gladly send more photographs or arrange a video call or a visit to the gallery.
Buying a piece
- There is no online checkout on the site. Every purchase starts with an inquiry, by form, email, phone or WhatsApp, and a personal quote. Prices are given on request.
- A sale is made only once the price, the payment method and the delivery terms have been agreed in writing (by email or WhatsApp) between you and Yossi Shua.
- Showing a piece on the site is not an offer to sell it; a piece may already have been sold.
Custom commissions
- The subject, size, colours, price and schedule of a commission are set out in its quote.
- A 50% deposit is paid when the commission starts, and the balance on completion, before the piece is shipped, unless another payment schedule is agreed in writing.
- Timelines on the site (such as 4–12 weeks) are a general estimate; the binding date is the one agreed for your piece.
Shipping
Pieces are shipped worldwide by an insured fine-art courier, with customs documentation and a signed certificate of authenticity. The cost and the delivery terms are part of the quote. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are not included unless the quote says so.
Cancelling a purchase
You may cancel a purchase in accordance with Israel’s Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations, subject to the exceptions in them, including a piece made especially for you to your own specifications. To cancel, contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp. If the piece has already been shipped, it is returned in its original packing, and the shipping cost is handled as the law sets.
Copyright
The artworks, their designs, the photographs, the film and the texts on the site belong to Yossi Shua, and all rights in them are reserved. They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without his written permission. Buying a piece gives you ownership of that piece, not the right to reproduce its design. Sharing a link to the site or to a particular page is allowed, and welcome.
Using the site
We work to keep the information on the site accurate and the site available, but mistakes and temporary interruptions can happen. Links to other sites (such as WhatsApp or social networks) are there for your convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
Privacy and accessibility
Information you send through the site is handled under the Privacy Policy. The site’s accessibility is described in the Accessibility Statement.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and the use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
